Lynda Carter, the beloved entertainer who has grabbed the spotlight in the past few years with appearances in both blockbuster and indie films as well as with her music and the release of a spectacular new single, “Human And Divine,” is not skipping a beat in 2022 with the release of a strikingly seductive new video of her cover version of the Rickie Lee Jones classic song Danny’s All Star Joint.” Directed by Jason Crain (The Boys In The Band), Carter vamps and winks slyly through a variety of settings and looks, giving the song a seriously flirty energy and sense of fun. The video of the song that appears on her 2021 EP Unexpected, will be released today, January 28 via Green Hill Music.
Produced by Carter and her longtime record producer Kyle Lehning, the song was recorded by Casey Wood at Starstruck Stuios in Nashville, TN. Also appearing on the song are Paul Leim on drums, Dave Hungate on bass, Tony Harrell on keys, Shane Keister on 83 organ, Kerry Marx on electric guitar, Lou Marini, Sa Levine and Jim Horn on sax, Steve Patrick on trumpet, Roy Agee on trombone and Eric Darken on percussion.
Says Carter: “It was a blast to do from start to finish–Jason and I had a vibrant connection that really energized the shoot. We truly accomplished what we set out to make—a fun, edgy video with kitty coolness!”
